Individual & Group therapy for women affected by mesh

How do you cope with the pain? With the loss of self? With the endless questions of "why me?', "why did I not get a second opinion?", "why did I trust the doctor?"

Being mesh-injured can feel isolating and never-ending.  It is a "new normal", as people would say.  However, unless someone has been in your shoes, will they ever possibly understand that this "new normal" is not normal at all.  You think- "this piece of polypropylene has  scarred me physically and emotionally."

While you are overwhelmed with the thought of adding another appointment to your calendar, therapy can help you process these questions, feelings, and help move you from being a victim to being a survivor, from feeling alone to having someone there for you, from feeling angry to reaching a point of forgiveness-not for others, but for yourself.  Feeling angry with yourself is part of the process of grieving what has happened.  Together, we would work towards your personal goals.  Most importantly, you would be validated, your voice would be heard, and you would be emotionally supported.

Individual therapy is available and group therapy is also offered.

Please note:

The sole purpose is to provide emotional support during a stressful time.

This is not for court litigation.
