Hi. Thanks for stopping by to read more about me to make sure I am a good fit for you. I have been working for 15 years as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor.
My first job was working at a youth emergency shelter, where I worked with homeless teens aged 11-17. I have worked as a school prevention counselor with high schoolers, worked with students at a community based clinic, hospitals, and private practice.
I work with students who are feeling sad, overthink things in their mind to the point that it stops them from being active at home, at school and in their community. I work with overachievers, who has stress, anxiety, get overwhelmed, and isolate themselves from others. I work with students who are tired of feeling sad, angry, moody, and out of control. Out of control means doing or saying things you wouldn't normally say or do...it' not who you are and you want to figure out a way to navigate through your challenges better.
Because some of the tweens and teens I work with don't have their own car or access to a car, I am glad to be available to them online. It is super convenient and you don't have to leave the comfort of your own room. You choose an area in your home that is private and gives you an opportunity to openly share with me.
